As one of the suppliers of room-temperature curing silicone rubber, silicone resin, silicone ester and other silicone products and application technologies for the electronic, electrical and digital electronics industries, Tianyongcheng has proposed a series of rubber solutions for the new energy vehicle market and the energy storage market.
In terms of structural adhesive, as the battery module evolves to a large size, its space utilization rate continues to improve, and the adhesive point changes, from the auxiliary adhesive on the side of the frame module structure to the adhesive on the side and bottom of the frameless module structure, and then to the adhesive on the side of the frameless module structure; The bonding function changes from shock absorption to shock absorption and heat conduction.
Because the electric core is directly assembled and bonded to the pack shell, the size of the electric core is increased, the amount of adhesive is increased, and the demand for heat conduction is increased, which puts forward higher requirements for the operational time, initial setting time, thixotropy and viscosity, and equipment wear.
Tianyongcheng adjusted its catalyst system from the structural formula of polyurethane to meet the requirements of rapid curing at high temperature by compounding catalyst and matching the sufficient opening time at room temperature.
In terms of heat transfer adhesive, Tianyongcheng has innovated the polymer body resin design and heat transfer filler and channel design to make the product take into account the characteristics of high heat transfer and low density, and achieve a density of 2.0 under 2.0 heat transfer.
In terms of heat conduction filler and channel design, Tianyongcheng selects filler particles with different shapes, such as 0-dimensional spherical, 1-dimensional needle-shaped, 2-dimensional sheet, etc., and improves the filling amount through fillers with different shapes and particle sizes to build a good heat conduction channel and heat conduction network. At the same time, the surface coating modification is also carried out on the whole to reduce the oil absorption of the body to the resin to reduce the viscosity of the colloid.
In terms of sealing and waterproofing of battery packs, the use environment of new energy vehicles requires that the sealed products have good resilience, weather resistance, high and low temperature resistance, low permanent compression deformation and other characteristics.
In view of this, Tianyongcheng has provided three solutions: one-component condensation sealant, two-component foaming silicone and one-component/two-component addition molding silicone (CIPG).
One-component condensation sealant: it is well bonded with the box cover and battery box, meeting IP68 waterproof grade; Overall curing for 24h (2 mm); Elongation at break ≥ 600%; Meet UL94 V0; The requirements for size and process materials are relatively low and the cost is low; Not easy to repair.
Two-component foaming silica gel: meet IP67 waterproof grade; Meet UL94 V0; Lightweight; High compression rate; Simple construction, easy disassembly and repair; High requirements for equipment.
Single/two-component additive silica gel (CIPG): automatic dispensing to improve production efficiency; Meet IP67 waterproof grade; Meet UL94 V0; Heating curing; High compression rebound rate and good sealing effect; Permanent compression deformation < 10%; Simple construction, easy disassembly and repair.
On the thermal insulation sealing tank of cylindrical battery, Tianyongcheng has introduced foaming silicone thermal insulation potting adhesive, which has good thermal insulation effect, low thermal conductivity, low density and lightweight

It is worth mentioning that Tianyongcheng was founded in 1995 and headquartered in Shenzhen. After nearly 30 years of development, it has now set up research and development centers and production bases in Jiujiang, Jiangxi and New North District, Changzhou. Among them, Jiangxi Factory is building five fully automatic production equipment lines with an annual capacity of 40000 tons of adhesive. It is expected to start mass production at the end of 2022.
